immoral? i don't think so.

we had a debate at school a while ago and it was all about virginity. the debate was so intense and the boys were screaming at the top of their lungs and girls are all swearing telling and shouting words like "forever virgin". someone stood up and said, non-virgins are all sluts and they're all going to hell and that made me STAND. My teacher gave me 5 minutes to explain why i chose to stand alone with YES. and i will stand by what i said. the question is:

SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE, YES OR NO

What I have to say is there are a lot of strong points given by various people. A large group disagrees on sex before marriage. It's because of our upbringing and religion. A lot says it is "immoral", "sinful" and it makes us "impure".

but my question is, does having sex before marriage makes us less of a person? does that mean virgins are better people than non-virgins? cause some comments kinda makes an impression that it does.

sex is a sacred and wonderful thing especially if you do it with the person you love the most. I admire girls who wants to wait until they get married. to "save" themselves to their future husbands but please don't judge people who have done it before marriage. It's our own choice. No one should tell us what or what not to do. If they wanna do it before marriage then it's their decision. As long as they know what they're getting into and know the consequences of their action.

It as if losing your virginity makes you less of a person. What if someone got raped, therefore she lost her virginity, does that make her immoral, considering her hymen broke? I know, it's a bad example and it's not the same, but pretty much everyone has been generalizing virginity.

To tell you the truth, I respect both parties. And why is it a double standard when it comes to this? Why does the female have to be pure, why can't it be the male too?

Before or after, it's up to you.when you're ready, when nobody's forcing you, when you want do it not because you have to.

I just wish some of you are not judgmental, there's more to a person than being a non-virgin.

that's it. im done.
